Deoksugung is one of Seoul’s famous palaces, known for its unique blend of traditional Korean and Western architecture. Located near Seoul City Hall, it offers a peaceful escape from the city's bustle, with beautiful gardens and royal halls. The changing of the royal guards ceremony is a popular attraction here.

1. Deoksugung Palace Tour

Gyeongbokgung is the largest and most important of the Five Grand Palaces built during the Joseon Dynasty. Established in 1395, it was the main royal palace and served as the center of government. Though it was destroyed and rebuilt multiple times throughout history, it remains a symbol of Korean heritage. The palace complex includes notable structures such as Geunjeongjeon (the throne hall) and Gyeonghoeru (a pavilion for royal banquets).

2. Gyeongbokgung Palace

Changdeokgung is one of the Five Grand Palaces built during the Joseon Dynasty. Known for its harmonious integration with the natural landscape, it served as a royal residence for many kings. The palace is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its outstanding example of Far Eastern palace architecture and garden design.

3. Changdeokgung Palace

Jongmyo Shrine is the oldest and most authentic Confucian royal shrine in Korea, where memorial services for the deceased kings and queens of the Joseon Dynasty are held. The shrine has been preserved in its original state and is also recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its cultural significance.

4. Jongmyo Shrine

Gyeonghuigung Palace was one of the secondary palaces during the Joseon Dynasty, used mainly as a retreat for the kings. While much of the palace was destroyed during the Japanese occupation, parts of it have been restored, and it now serves as a historical site and cultural venue.
